His paintings are an interesting combination of traditional themes and pop culture, while his textile work is colouful and intricate, with added buttons and other embellishments to creates stunning embroideries of domestic animals and imaginary creatures.

Some of the animals are portrayed alone, as single protagonists of the piece, while others are put together into complex patterns.

In all his work there is a sense of fun and irreverence, coupled with a spotless technique.

He uses photos taken from his phone and transforms the ordinary settings into strange sets, where his creatures live unordinary situations. Or just have a cup of tea while the children play.

I have talked before about my interests for photography mixed with illustration, and this is another example where the combination works perfectly.
